How Does the Challenge Work?
[/text_divider]
Our fall nutrition & lifestyle challenge is set to start in just a few weeks. Here is some additional information on how we’ll be running this year’s challenge.
WHO? Anyone who wants to make some changes to their nutrition or exercise habits in order to lean out, to perform better, or simply to feel better. This challenge is for all our members as well as friends and family. You do not need to be a current member at CFW to enter the challenge.
WHAT? 5 week nutrition and lifestyle challenge focusing on fuelling your life and your workouts. We’ll take some before and after metrics that will focus on performance and body composition.
WHEN? October 3rd to November 6th, 2016. We’ll kick off the challenge with a seminar on Saturday October 1st.
WHY? It’s time to decide to take this whole ‘life’ thing a little more seriously so that you don’t have to take it so seriously later down the line. We want to see how your performance, health, and body composition reacts to intentional and mindful eating. To some extent, we’ll be following the tenets of our ancestral diet, but we’re not going to give this a name, because ‘diets’ have and end point: you’re either on a diet, or off a diet and that is NOT what we are in for here. You should not have a dogmatic attachment to a diet, simply find what supports your work and recovery and does not support illness or the accumulation of body fat.
HOW MUCH? You can choose how much you want to invest in the challenge. All challenge participants will have access to the nutrition seminar and Facebook group as well as the benchmark workout. Pricing will range from $20 for the Bronze Challenge all the way up to $120 for the Platinum Challenge, depending on the measurements you want to take. See registration section below for more details.

Points & Challenges
[/text_divider]
Just like our Spring Challenge you will have the opportunity to earn points every day by following the guidelines and working on your customizable challenges. We’ll have a daily checklist or score sheet that you can put up on your fridge to have a visual of your progress. This will include points for things like working out and drinking enough water and eating enough of various types of foods.
Points will be allotted for challenges as well. These challenges will be posted on the Fuel for Fall Blog on a daily basis. Each week will have a different theme and we’ll give specific recommendations based on your goals.
You will be logging your food and points either on our Fuel for Fall Facebook Group or on the blog itself. We’ll be posting more details on the rules and how to earn points in the next couple of weeks. The Facebook group is extremely supportive and a great opportunity to share recipes and tips.

Benchmark Workout
[/text_divider]
You will have the opportunity to test strength and conditioning during benchmark workout on the weekend of October 1st or into the beginning of the following week if you can’t make it in over the weekend. The scoring for the challenge will take into account your performance in the before workout as well as the after workout such that you will not gain any advantage by performing poorly on the Before workout. In other words, if you start off with a good performance and improve over the course of the challenge it will be better than if you start off with poor performance and improve the same amount.
